Idea #1: Mod Day Glow • Rationale: The 1980’s prom dress updated, glitz and glam for retro, “Gossip Girl”, audacious and immortal; graffiti, gigantic color, pop culture, personalized and individual “Google Color”. Day glow returns in architecture as LED lighting. • Description: Sheen and opalescence, outrageous color in contrast – purples with bright pinks, yellows and oranges • CMG Color Combinations: Hottie, Blue Passage, Eye Spy, Viva le Vert

  3. Idea #2: Unexpected Plum • Rationale: Starting with Prada, this unexpected hue is the evolution of brown. Red + Blue = the Country coming together. The AHA luxury color! The trend has moved into interiors … influences include the book “Twilight”, Gothic Exhibit at FIT. “Gothic Glam, Dark Beauty, Mad Men” • Description: Warm shimmers update the dark old look, inky colors such as blues, magentas, greens bring opulence.
