  5. Function Notation • y=2x+3 • y=|-x+5|

  6. Ex : • Given f(x) = 2x³ + x - 4 find each value: • f(-2) • f(3x)

  7. Ex : • Write each equation in Standard Form then identify the A, B, and C • y = 4x +3 • 2x = .75y +6

  8. Ex last one: • Find the x- and y-intercept and then graph the equation. • y = -2x + 5 • 2x + 3y = -6
