From kindergarten through sixth grade, the basic Scholarly Behaviors (from the work of Dr. Sandra Kaplan) are reinforced in our daily work . Kaplan’s elements of Depth and Complexity, are also embedded into daily instruction, adding a layer to curriculum that immediately increases rigor and engagement for all students! Scholarly Behaviors High expectations, coupled with a strong support system and rigorous subject-matter content, form the core of the learning process at ReaganMagnet School. Academic achievement, exemplary citizenship, self-esteem, and critical thinking skills are an emphasis for every child. The high academic achievement demonstrated by Reagan students over time is the result of a dynamic learning partnership of students, parents, staff, and community.
