Poor Alleviation Audit by Using KNI in China The audit projects in recent years: • audit on distribution, management and use of fiscal funds for poverty alleviation in 19 counties from 2010 to 2012; • real-time audit on the implementation of major national policies and measures of poverty alleviation from 2015 to 2016; • audit on 40 counties' financial poverty alleviation funds from 2013 to 2015

  8. II. Poor Alleviation Audit by Using KNI in China Key indicators: 1. Indicators for evaluating the implementation of poverty alleviation policies; • registered poor households; • poor villages; • poor counties.

  9. II. Poor Alleviation Audit by Using KNI in China 2. Indicators on the management and utilization of the poverty alleviation projects; • rate of disbursement; • project progress; • poor people covered by the project; • number of unexpected projects and the amount, etc.

Indicators for evaluating poverty alleviation funds management. • amount of mis-used poverty alleviation funds; • amount of poverty alleviation funds obtained by deception or fraud; • amount of idle poverty alleviation funds; • amount of poverty alleviation funds that are overall arranged,etc.

  11. III. A Vision for Key Indicators Use • The main indicators of poverty reduction after 2020 will be adjusted and redesigned. • The audit institutions will analyze the characteristics and trends of the poor households, help update the national support policy.
