More Words, More Meaning • When something is important or common, it can sometimes have several different words that can mean the same thing (soda/pop) • When something is not important or more unique, it may have few or only one word to describe it (tmesis) • Words can also have several different meanings associated with them (crane, net, rose, foil, type)
