Aft Body Rate ReadinessControl Station 275 Rate Enabler Responsible: Status Date: 6/13/2012 Approved: CS275 Rate Readiness –Primer Applicator Problem Definition: • Need improved method of loading applying primer on fasteners. Objectives & Approach: • Reduce cycle time • Create repeatable standard work process • Test it in several SOIs Benefits: Implementation Schedule: • Reduce time spent in priming fasteners • Reduce possibly of error (ie: voids) • Improve critical path flow (due to faster Strap completion) • 50% reduction in primer voids • Saves 30 seconds from each fastener.
