  2. eLearning Library as a Resource for SEC • Many courses in the eLearning Library of general engineering/professional interest, but fewer than 10 standards-specific courses currently. • Some courses are free. Most are not. Sold by the course or by subscription. • Subscriptions are separate from Xplore subscription. • Professors have access if their university has access. • Entire eLearning Library is being promoted, and there is also a small, free ad space on the web available for promotion of related items.

Opportunity to Develop Our Own Courses • In 2012, SEC will develop new Standards Education courses to be placed in eLearning Library • Proposed topics • Preparing for Senior Design Courses • How to Read a Standard • Other? • We can also offer material to be used as a Standards Development add-on to the eLearning Library course “IEEE English for Engineering.” • Jennifer McClain taking lead • Volunteer partners sought
