ETB’s Target Activities - II • Research, evaluation and technological developmentof various energy applications and advisory services to private and public clients. • Management of environmental problems relating to the pollution of air, sea, and underground caused by various types of liquids. • ETB has its own solar park located at the Greek island of Samos.

Energy Regulation in Greece Greece administrates every aspect around RES (Renewable Energy Sources) via a supervisory body, called RAE (Regulatory Authority for Energy), which also has the whole responsibility and co-ordination of all available types of energy in Greece. Among other things, RAE grants licenses to construct solar and wind parks and issues licenses to produce electricity from all types of sources. Besides, RAE advises the Ministry of Energy on all energy and environmental issues and for ways to meet the goal of 20% renewables by 2020 for Greece.
