Asia’s 3 potential growth ECONOMY: • 2011 study conducted by the Asia Development Bank forecast that Asia's per capita income could raise six fold in purchasing power parity (PPP) terms to reach Europe’s levels by 2050. POPULATION: • 4 billion people to 5 billion by 2050. Timor-Leste has been contributing to the Asian population growth. • Timor-Leste´s population of around 1.2 million is among the fastest growing in the world EDUCATION: • rising education levels were also important, boosting Asian growth on average by 0.75 to 2 percentage points.

" The rapid expansion of human capital through quality education throughout Asia has played a significant role in experiencing "higher life expectancy and economic growth, and even to the quality of institutions and whether societies will make the transition into modern democracies". CDD or PNDS • Empowering people thru the CDD (Community Driven Development) is seen as effective approach to people at grass root level. • People participatein planning, deciding, and implementing “ CDD is seen as effective approach as it has been implemented in around 100 countries in the world inlcluding Philippines, Indonesia, Afganistan....”

  7. “The nature of the cooperation and effectiveness and of the results, undoubtedly, set an example of best practices of public administration on efficient use of human resources, aimed to have better coordination in delivering public services to its population”
