  3. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.- Proverbs 9:10 Every child should learn the stories of Creation, Redemption, and Revelation. At a very young age, the child will learn divine wisdom that will guide him throughout his life. The fear of the Lord will always make the child seek Him. The Laws written in his heart will become clear.

  4. In this modern day and age, scientific knowledge has grown exponentially. Unfortunately, it also led to much confusion and a crazier world. In order to grasp the reality of today, the young mind should know the beginning. The Creation Story tells about the beginning of the world and man. It also tells about the Creator, the Living God, who made life possible. Even if there are so many scientific discoveries, there are men who are able to synthesize modern science with biblical creation.

  5. After Albert Einstein unlocked the secrets of the universe through his Theory of Relativity, believers are convinced that the universe began with a Big Bang. Similar to the atom bomb or grenade, Einstein believed that there must be a beginner before the Big Bang. The Beginner is the one who started the Big Bang. It is very much like the person who pulled the pin from the grenade for it to explode. In the Creation Story, the Beginner is the Creator, the Living God, and the Lord of the whole universe.

  7. Through Him, He made the heavens, stars, planets, sky, sea, land, plants, animals, and man. Modern scientists and evolutionists tried to refute the authenticity of the Creation Story. Since there was no credible witness at the time of creation, they doubted and even rejected the biblical creation. Besides, based on the fossils that were found, they also tell quite a different story. Due to the advancements in the area of Nuclear Physics, scientist-believers are now able to explain the discrepancies. The explanation is very convincing with the support of the Theory of Relativity.

  8. www.amazon.com Originally published in 1978, this second edition includes an appendix presentation by Catholic and Jewish theologians. He concludes his book with this often quoted statement: "He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries." "Dr. Jastrow explains the chain of events that forced astronomers, despite their initial reluctance to accept the validity of the Big Bang and the fact that the universe began in a moment of creation." (SCIENCE/ASTRONOMY) Author & Astrophysicist : Dr. Robert Jastrow, is the director of Mount Wilson Observatory and was founder and director for twenty years of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies. He authored books which explore the universe; Red Giants & White Dwarfs, and Until the Sun Dies.

  10. The scientists-believers today are able to reconcile the six days in biblical creation and modern science through an expanding universe, a revolving earth, and the distance that light traveled. Light takes more time to reach the other end in an expanding universe of the Big Bang Theory. Everything in the universe is in motion, not stationary. Everything rotates and revolves around something.

  11. Our Solar System

  12. The Mysterious Universe The Helix has often been referred to as the Eye of God on the Internet, since about 2003. The Helix Nebula was also featured in the 2004 Battlestar Galactica TV series. The Helix Nebula is an example of a planetary nebula created at the end of the life of a Sun-like star. The outer gases of the star expelled into space appear from our vantage point as if we are looking down a helix. The remnant central stellar core, destined to become a white dwarf star, glows in light so energetic that it causes the previously expelled gas to fluoresce. (WIKIPEDIA)

  13. The Creation Story is fascinating to a child. He will get to know the ideal life in the Garden of Eden. He will also learn how the first man and woman disobeyed the Creator. As a result, they were punished and cast out of Eden. They were cursed to live on their own, eat the produce of the land, and eventually expire. They had to work and till the land until they sweat to be able to feed their selves. To restore the grace of the Creator, they have to pay back through one of their descendants. Someone worthy enough to obtain God's grace.

  14. The restitution, atonement, or sacrifice will enable the Heaven to open once more and pour out God's mercy to all men. The promise of eternal life will be granted and the curse of death is overpowered.

  15. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16 In the Redemption Story, the child will get to know the fulfillment of God's plan for men. He will learn about faithful men and women who became instruments of God. He will get to know Jesus of Nazareth (in Hebrew, Yeshua) and His Divine Teachings. At this point, he will realize his purpose in this world and should act according to the will of the Creator.

  16. Born in a manger in Bethlehem to a Jewish family

  17. The child will also learn the mysteries of faith. How Jesus performed miracles, healed the sick, prophesied, Fed 5000 Walked on water

  18. Instituted the New Covenant

  19. suffered, died, and rose from the dead. The Risen Christ Death at the Cross

  20. The curse on Adam and Eve as a result of their disobedience was reversed through Jesus. Through His death and resurrection (the first one to do so), He restored eternal life to the faithful followers of God. Jesus was the promise of the Creator to Eve who will overcome the power of death in this world. Through Him, He set examples that men should emulate in order to guarantee their inheritance of eternal life in a new heaven and a new earth. The Paradise once lost, has been regained. Ascended to heaven

  21. As a child of the Living God, to know and understand the Creation and Redemption stories are not enough. One is required to act and obey the Commandments or the Laws of God. After Jesus rose from the dead, He stayed for forty days on earth and gave His last sermon on the mount. From the last sermon, the child as a believer has a great responsibility on spreading the Good News of salvation to others. His task is to bring it to all the people in the world and nations.

  22. On the other hand, the Revelation Story is about the end times and judgment. It is a story of hope that in the future, the Savior will come and rule the world. Through His reign, nonbelievers and lukewarm followers will get another opportunity to prove that they also deserve to inherit the Kingdom of God. By this time, He will be able to dispel the skepticism about the existence of God.

  23. Those who will resist and choose otherwise will be condemned in the eternal lake of fire. All will be judged, the living and the dead. The faithful will be rewarded with a new heaven and a new earth.

  24. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. - Proverbs 3:5-6 Christ knocking at the door

  25. The path to righteous life should be taught to every child. There is no better way than to learn the sacred Scripture first. The Creation, Redemption, and Revelation stories tell about the existence of a Living God and Creator.

  26. As a child of God, he has a purpose. The child will appreciate life and the beauty of his natural habitat. He will learn that life is worth living despite the trials and hardships. Through knowing this stories by heart, the child's character is formed into a socially responsible person even in a secular world around him. He will be guided as he walked by his faith. He will know how to derive inner strength and hope from the one true God. The greatest is love…

  27. The child will also inspire others and becomes a light to this world of sinfulness, violence, and destruction. Through the strength coming from God, he will be able to reach out to others and remind them of God's plans and Commandments. He will be able to touch the lives of the desperate and hopeless people in the society.

  28. Beautiful World

  29. The child will effectively deliver the message of God's forgiveness and promise of an eternal life. He will be able to extend to others that God is merciful if they will turn back to Him and follow His ways. Through these Scripture, the child will also know that prayer is a powerful way to communicate with God.

  30. Prayer TheOurFather Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. • "The Lord's Prayer "is truly the summary of the whole gospel." "Since the Lord...after handling over the practice of prayer, said elsewhere, 'Ask and you will receive,' and since everyone has petitions which are peculiar to his circumstances, the regular and appropriate prayer (the Lord's Prayer) is said first, as the foundation of further desires." • Tertullian, De orat.from the Catechism of the Catholic Church; 2761. • EWTN (www.ewtn.com/devotionals/prayers)

  31. Prayer When All Seems Dark Most High, Glorious God Most high, glorious God, Lighten the darkness of my heart And grant me, Lord, A correct faith, A certain hope, A perfect charity, And sense of knowledge, So that I may carry out Your holy and true command. -St. Francis of Assisi Available in: Amazon, EWTN, National Bookstore
