  5. MINI-JOURNAL • Mercutio is killed when Romeo tries to stop the fight. If Romeo had not become involved, Mercutio might not have died. Do you think Romeo did the right thing? Think of a time when you tried to help a friend (or a friend tried to help you), andthe situation became worse or better. First explain the conflict, then tell why you (or your friend) became involved and whether you would do the same knowing what you know now.
