  1. Matthew 28:18-20 • 18And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[b] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

  2. Psalm 51:5 • 5Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

  3. Romans 6:23 • 23For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  4. Acts 2:37-39 • 37Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

  5. Acts 2:37-39 • 39For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

  6. Galatians 4:7 • So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

  7. Romans8:17 • Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

  8. Titus 3:3-8 • " 3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another.

  9. Titus 3:3-8 • 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

  10. Titus 3:3-8 • 8 The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.

  11. 1Peter 3:21-22 • 21Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

  12. Colossians 2:11-15 • 11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.

  13. Romans 6:3-5 • 3Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life

  14. Romans 6:3-5 • 5For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.
