The Queen’s Birthday –Horse Guards Parade, London Saturday 11thJune 2016 Queen’s 90th birthday is the official celebrations continue with the Queen’s Birthday Parade, also known as Trooping the Colour. If you have the interest in pomp and pageantry, don’t miss it. Whilst her majesty’s actual birthday is on April 21, this is her official birthday and will be performed on Horse Guards. It will be performed by troops from the Foot Guards and Household Cavalry. The proceedings can be watched down the Mall or from the corner of St James’s Park without any fee. The event begins at 10pm, therefore, to get a proper view arrive well before time. Royal Ascot – Ascot, Berkshire It is one of the greatest events of the racing and social calendar, running from Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th June 2016. Although it’s not limited to racing, as known for the Ladies Day is the spot to express your style and enjoy the glamour. Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) The festival starting on Wednesday 15th to Sunday 26th June. Tickets are now available for sale. Glastonbury hosts some of the biggest musical acts, along this year’s headliners including Beck, Adele, Foals, Coldplay and Muse. Whether you intend to camp or just for the Sunday fun, the convenient way to reach there is to pre-book a cab and in case you need extra space for the luggage just make sure to indicate when booking. Wimbledon Tennis Championships –Wimbledon, London Get ready for tennis. It’s cream and strawberries time when Wimbledon kick off on Monday 27 June heading to the finals on Sunday 10 July.
