    2. Materials Goggles 1 plastic bag per table 1 cup baking soda 10 mL vinegar 50 mL graduated cylinder Funnel plastic spoon

    4. Procedure Step 1 Using a spoon, place one spoonful of baking soda into the small cup.

    5. Step 1 (cont.) Notice how I have a SMALL spoonful of baking soda.

    7. Procedure Step 2 Using a funnel, pour 10 mL of vinegar into a new, clean graduated cylinder.

    8. Step 2 (cont.) Fill to the first big line (10 mL)

    9. Observe Draw a picture of the baking soda.

    10. Observe Draw a picture of the vinegar.

    11. Procedure Step 3 Pour the measured vinegar into the bottom of a plastic bag.

    12. Procedure Step 4 Set the cup of baking soda into the plastic bag. DO NOT SPILL.

    13. Procedure Step 5 Seal the plastic bag tightly.

    14. Observe Draw a picture of the bag and its contents.

    15. Procedure Step 6 Knock the cup over inside the plastic bag.

    16. Step 6 (cont.) You may need to move the bag around.

    17. Observe Draw a picture of what the bag and its contents look like after knocking the cup of baking soda over.

    18. Clean Up! Throw the bag away. Wash & dry the spoon, graduated cylinder, and funnel. Place the materials back in your basket.

    19. Analyze & Conclude Complete the 4 Analyze & Conclude questions. Only complete sentences will receive full credit. You must finish this for homework.
