  1. Sometimes we say “Amen” because we believe the theory but it is much sweeter to say “Amen” because we experienced the truth. – Bill Johnson

  2. "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him." - Psalm 92:15 (NIV)

  3. "To complain takes breath which is something you should thank God for"

  4. Job 1:8-12 "Have you considered my servant Job?" God asks Satan. "There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil". “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

  5. Job 1:8-12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”

  6. Job 1:21-22 “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

  7. Job 2 3 "And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.” 4 “Skin for skin!” Satan replied. “A man will give all he has for his own life. 5 But now stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.” 6 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.”

  8. Job 2 7 So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head. 8 Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes. 9 His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!”

  9. Job 2 10 He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.

  10. Job 7 7 Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath; my eyes will never see happiness again. 8 The eye that now sees me will see me no longer; you will look for me, but I will be no more.

  11. Job 7 19 Will you never look away from me, or let me alone even for an instant? 20 If I have sinned, what have I done to you, you who see everything we do? Why have you made me your target? Have I become a burden to you?[a] 21 Why do you not pardon my offenses and forgive my sins? For I will soon lie down in the dust; you will search for me, but I will be no more.”

  12. Job 38 1Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said: 2 “Who is this that obscures my plans    with words without knowledge?3 Brace yourself like a man;    I will question you,and you shall answer me. 4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?Tell me, if you understand. 5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!Who stretched a measuring line across it? 6 On what were its footings set,    or who laid its cornerstone—7 while the morning stars sang together    and all the angels shouted for joy?

  13. Job 38 12 “Have you ever given orders to the morning,or shown the dawn its place, 16 “Have you journeyed to the springs of the seaor walked in the recesses of the deep? 17 Have the gates of death been shown to you?Have you seen the gates of the deepest darkness? 18 Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth?Tell me, if you know all this. 40:2 “Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him?Let him who accuses God answer him!”

  14. Job 40 3 Then Job answered the Lord: 4 “I am unworthy—how can I reply to you?    I put my hand over my mouth.5 I spoke once, but I have no answer—    twice, but I will say no more.”

  15. Job 42 2 “I know that you can do all things;    no purpose of yours can be thwarted.3 You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’    Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,    things too wonderful for me to know. 5 My ears had heard of you    but now my eyes have seen you.6 Therefore I despise myself    and repent in dust and ashes.”

  16. James 1:2-4 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops PERSEVERANCE. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be MATURE and COMPLETE, NOT LACKING ANYTHING. . .”

  17. Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV) "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

  18. 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

  19. Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. .

  20. Romans 8:18: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”
