    2. Rising Action Definition:The rising action, in the narrative of a work of fiction, follows the exposition and leads up to the climax. The rising action's purpose is usually to build suspense all the way up the climactic finish. The rising action should not be confused with the middle of the story, but is the action right before the climax.

    3. Oxymoron Definition: A combination of contradictory terms.

    4. ? Interrogative ? Definition: of, pertaining to, or conveying a question.

    5. Anadiplosis Definition: Repetition of the last word of one line or clause to begin the next. Anadiplosis often leads to the climax. Note that a chiasmus includes anadiplosis, but not every anadiplosis reverses itself in the manner of a chiasmus.
