  1. Central GonobidyalayaSonargaon, Narayangonj Who is a Global citizen? 1)Introduction : Global citizen is he who lives in this globe, thinks himself as a part of Globe. Globalization in 21 century challenges our traditional sense of Citizenship. Global citizenship focuses on the awareness that the world as a global community . In this century the world has because smaller and smaller , we find our selves more and more inter connected . As a young global citizen we can discuss various issues from global perspectives that can help develop the burning issues of our community where we are living .

  4. 3) The student were divided in 3 groups . Each group consists 10 students to select and interview 3 person who care about global issues.4)We asked then what is the main issue you think as a global citizen is prevailing in our community ? They replied sanitation problem is the most burning issue of our community that is to be care for .We asked them have you any statistic regarding sanitation situation here in our community? They replied ,yes .We requested them to kindly explain those . They explained that area of our village is one square kilometer two hundred family lives here, population is around 900 number of tube well is only a few are arsenic free tube well.They were very vocal on unhygienic latrine only 60% people have proper sanitary latrine rest are unhygienic and due to this environment is polluted seriously . People are attacked by water borne diseases i.e. Diarrhea ,skin disease, hepatitis.We asked then how this problem can be cared ?They replied that awareness building work is the most important . They also opined that the problem needs to be seen as a global issue and as Bangladesh is a poor country and most of the community people are poor, rich countries should come forward with financial help

  5. 5)After taking necessary interview and group wise report writing we had a presentation session where it was decided that global youth service day will be observed between 20-22 Apl. 2007 by us, where we shall arrange discussion session rally on the issue to aware people • Participants • Student of online forum • Central Gonobidyalaya • Sonargaon, Narayangonj, Bangladesh
