  1. NATIONAL SOCIETY OF COLLEGIATE SCHOLARS General Body Meeting, Monday January 22nd, 8 p.m.

  4. Integrity Scholarship • The outline/guidelines/rubric on next slide please email if you have any questions. • Print our Integrity Ticker # 4 slide as proof of ticket. • Will be due in the education office February 12th by 3pm • There will be 3 scholarships for the book store • Winners will be announced at integrity night, February 15th @ 8:15 in Gild 226

Step 1: Make sure you have at least 3 of Integrity Tickets that were handed out at each NSCS meeting, which you have attended. • Step 2: Type a double-spaced 1 page essay explaining what the lessons mean to you as an NSCS member. Make sure to put your name in the top right corner. • Step 3: Staple all of your Integrity Tickets onto the back of your essay (4 separate tickets which show your attendance at the NSCS Meetings)! • Step 4: Turn in your essay with your Integrity Tickets attached to the Education Office (Gildemeister 152) by 3:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2018. You must have attended meetings 2-4 and have collected all at least 3 of the 4 Integrity Tickets. • Step 5: Come to Integrity Week Game Night on Thursday, February 15th from 8:15 – 9:15 PM. in Gildmeister 226 to find out who earns the scholarships and have some fun! You must be present to win. • 1st Place: $75 WSU Bookstore Gift Certificate • 2nd Place: $50 WSU Bookstore Gift Certificate • 3rd Place: $25 WSU Bookstore Gift Certificate • Note: Once the essays are collected, names will be removed before being given to the judges to ensure anonymity. Essays will be judged on originality, grammar, and quality of writing. GOOD LUCK!

Integrity Week Tabling event • Sign up for a time slot to join an officer at our tabling event February 14that a table in the Lower hyphen of Krysko commons. • 1 time slot= 1 point. • Email LElsenpeter13@winona.edu to sign up Multiple people can sign up for each time slot. Can leave early for class, these are just guidelines.

VP OF PACE -Shannon • Pen Pal letters- available in the education office in purple folder • Due by Thursday at 3pm in the same purple folder • Picnic with your pen pals is a go, just waiting on dates that work with the students, more information to come.—please let us know of any allergies because we will be serving Bledows • March to College- assignments and t-shirt orders will be at the next meeting

  8. VP OF COMMUNICATIONS-Max • Look for points updates on the website & Facebook • Remember- Need 8points/ semester to be “active” • Please send a picture or some form of verification when you do volunteer opportunities outside of NSCS (ex: Humane society) MGonzalez13@winona.edu

COMMUNITY SERVICE –Danyell • Two community and service events this month!   • Clothing Sort (2 points): Thursday, January 25th 4:00-6:00pm • Humane Society Event (2 points): Friday, February 2nd 3:00-5:00pm • Please email me if interested in attending either of these community and service events we are in desperate need for people to sign up for both events. I only need five people for the Humane Society event so email me ASAP, we will also be doing a humane society event next month! If you need a ride to either of these events please do not hesitate to sign up and let me know in the email and we can figure something out! After you email me to sign up I will send a reminder email with instructions and as confirmation.

This will be used to post pictures, information, and reminders on our story for you to view. • We will not follow you back to maintain your privacy! • Snapchat name: nscs.winona

  12. FUNDRAISING CHAIR- Kelly • T-shirt = $12 • Sweatshirt orders: price depends on # of orders: • 10= $31.52 • 15= $26.57 • 20= $24.09 We will send out more information when the order forms are complete

  13. VP OF MEMBERSHIP/OUTREACH-Alyssa • 1 ITEM = .5 POINTS, CAN EARN UPTO 1.5 POINTS TOTAL • Winter clothing such as hats and mittens for kids, will go to a local elementary school, please bring to the education office: Due by Wednesday at 3pm • Next month’s donation is children’s books
