  3. Struts The bones of a bird are filled with air spaces to reduce weight God Designed Birds this way A bird’s bones are light but very strong. Interior supports are called struts (same as in airplanes).

  5. The same principle that enables an airplane wing to stay aloft permits a bird wing to stay aloft. Note: Camber, angle of attack, creation of lift and drag.
