  7. Open Issues • Mixed Loads (PostalOne! and Surface Visibility) • Barcoded placards for eDropship and FAST • Industry needs to provide all barcoded data • Application changes to process • Develop “exceptions” solution (i.e. Extras) • Hard copy and non-barcoded placards • Evaluate current business processes (USPS) • Discount Validations (MTAC WG 106) • PostalOne! encountering same issues as Industry in determining correct entry for discounts • Improve the access, accuracy, and timeliness of business information used to support the drop shipment process i.e. Drop Ship Product, Label List, FAST data

  8. Open Issues • Pallet Placard Scanning • Ability to scan through pallet stretch wrap • Scanner Capabilities (IMAQ) • Pallet Preparation with Stretch Wrap (USPS Eng) • Pallet preparation – short pallets • Loss of placard visibility – particularly as they are stacked • Evaluate impact • Evaluate placard placement possibilities (USPS and Industry)

  9. Open Issues • Develop approach for information access relative to the drop shipment business process • The group agreed to a data specific approach to solve the information sharing needs for supply chain roles involved in the drop shipment process. • Identified conceptual model to enable multi-parties to access and update data across the business process • Will document the proposed solution and provide to other MTAC groups facing same challenge

  10. Wrap UP • Next Steps • Submit Data Access Proposal • Report final findings • Sunset Design and Concept MTAC 93 group • Complete MTAC Work Group Close Out Statement by Nov 2006.
