Now: clearer distinction
MBA: only open for managers with career history

6. Background (2) Main objective of the MiM/MiB: give business knowhow to (recent) graduates from a variety of backgrounds
But: also open for people with experience
Stronger focus on obtaining analytical skills (<-> MBA: more focus on strategic skills)
Clearer value proposition from a recruiter’s point of view
Information session

Left to the discretion of the student – promoter
Good practice is keeping the promoter updated (even if you are not submitting anything)
Assessment by promoter and one jury member

16/05/2012 | pag. 12
13. Internships (1) Not compulsory in the program
Faculty does not administratively support internships outside credit contracts
In other words: MiM/MiB students wanting to perform an internship need to enroll for an additional credit (with reporting requirements at the end to obtain the credit)

14. Internships (2) However, an internship can be accepted if:
It is linked to the study domain and the tasks are in line with the level of the study degree
So no lower skilled admin work
Administrative handling by the VUB Career Center (location ground floor building B)
Search for an internship
