  3. About OBE Founded in 1995, OBE specializes in experiential marketing, including online and virtual events, consumer marketing events, social media campaigns, B2B conferences, retail experiences, internal events, pop-up marketing, influencer marketing, and press events. They also create campaigns for sports marketing events, music, entertainment, product launches, international events, etc. This culture-centric agency is into full-service-producing big projects that are unforgettable live experiences for their clients. The Event Marketer Magazine featured OBE in the industry’s top 100 agencies for ten years straight!!!

  4. The Interactions With Captioningstar The Senior Production Manager, Melanie Kassis, directly enquired us over the phone to understand our captioning and subtitling services for their workshop on ‘Community Connect.’ They would send us a pre-recorded video of the workshop, caption them in English, translate them, and provide subtitles in 11 different languages. The workshop was yet to be conducted when Melanie contacted us, but she wanted to know the price and turnaround time in advance.

  5. The track length of the file was 49 minutes. Closed captions were preferred, and the languages to which subtitles were to be provided were Arabic, Indonesian, Latin, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Vietnamese, Thai, Turkish, German, Taiwanese Mandarin, and Italian. All the closed captioning sidecar files are to be provided in SRT format. Transcriptions were required beforehand as a text document for their perusal. Also, they wanted the SRT files five days after we received the pre-recorded video. A detailed quotation was worked out by our team clearly and was sent for their approval.

  6. Parallel Interaction

  7. When all this kept happening, we accepted a similar project from them. James Pratts, the other senior production manager at OBE, approached us to caption and subtitle five different files. The subtitles were to be presented in Spanish. He also wanted the transcripts of the files in English and Spanish for review before time-coding the captions and adding subtitles on the video. James got to know the charges of our services from Melanie and wanted us to proceed immediately after receiving the files.

  8. Execution In one go, our executives planned and organized linguistics and captioners to handle this project. All our translators are experienced and are native speakers. They are well versed in different slang and dialects. Initially, we sent them the transcripts. After revising the scripts, a few requirements were listed. We made sure to include and correct everything on the transcripts. Further to their approval, the first project from Melanie was translated into 11 different languages. We delivered all the SRT files a week ahead of their scheduled time.

  9. The second project from James was translated into Spanish. The very next day, after downloading the files, transcripts were sent. There was a delay in receiving the second file from James. Four files were sent first, and the last delayed file was also sent that evening as our team worked on it as a high-priority task. Despite the weekend, we continued to translate the videos to Spanish. The captions were made impeccable with our three-round QC by language experts. Within the next 48 hours, the SRT files were ready for upload.

  10. They gave us a google drive link to upload all transcripts and SRT files. We cautiously named all the files as they requested us and uploaded them using the link they provided. Our work was worthy of recognition. CaptioningStar is working on its new projects. THANK YOU
