  2. Setting The dark damp setting makes us feel un-comfortable. There is something to hide as it is in a palace that the public can’t really and they wouldn’t be there. It is a deralicte area saying to us that the girl laying may have been neglected.

  3. Props In order to set the scene for the fact the girl is young, we see her by a set of school lockers. Using these as the props not only shows what age she might be but what sort of character she is going to be as a rebel might not be seen using the school lockers but rather defacing them.

  4. Costume The shoes of the victim say a lot about her personality and how she valued herself. The conations could be that she took her self quite seriously they aren’t too high but they aren’t flats so she is probably older. The colour isn’t in your face so she wasn’t a popular person or massively out going person but did care about how she looked. The length of her skirt falls below the knee shows us that she is a reserved person the small feature tells us that not only is she this kind of person but that because she is this type of person she is also the victim without battle.

  5. Costume The costume of the male we see twice looks misterious and almost like he could be someone dangerous his isn’t dressing like a person in the spot light but trying to blend into the background, he is also blending in with the background of the victims obvious murder site making it seem as though he has maybe thought about where it is going to take place. He is wearing the same clothes as in the previous part and we know that the lighter image is 2 days earlier when the girl was still alive. The continuity shows with the girls bracelets .

  6. Make-up • There isn’t much make-up thoughout the opening titles as they what the characters to seem natural and not to showy as also pointed out by what they are wearing. The only obvious make-up change would be the girls hair when laying in the puddle with her hair covering her face hiding herself but it is wet show her body may have been moved from laying on her back.

  7. Figure expression • You can tell the girl was a good girl because of the position of her hand portraying her angelic side even though she has passed away. • The males body positioning in the scene watching the girl laying there either show us that he is very shocked by what he has done or what he has found .

  8. Additional information • We see the mans head turn toward the phone as it rings and we see his face. The familiar sound of the phone ringing draws us into feeling comfortable. However when we hear the voice on the other end of the phone she sound panic and we immediately become uncomfortable because as we know she is a young girl and the panic indicates that she is in trouble/ vulnerable situation.
