  1. Causes and Suggestions for Joint Replacement in Hyderabad Joint Replacement in Hyderabad is generally recommended to someone who has suffered a damaged joint somewhere in the body or an infection at the joint or bone weakness due to old age. Only after seriously investigating the condition and medical records can the doctor suggest for a joint replacement. This procedure is usually undertaken by an orthopedic surgeon. This is suggested in cases where no other treatment helps to retrieve the damaged joint. A joint replacement will only make like easier as the pain is replaced and the infected area is treated with a replacement joint. More often than not, joint replacement cases are seen in patients with arthritis or bone weakness due to old age. Even severe injuries can affect the functioning and blood circulation around a joint. This causes a lot of pain, blood clot, a lot of rigidity and stiffness of the joint, and a bloating or swelling around the infected area. This happens when the bone’s strength reduces and there is not enough circulation of blood to be healthy and grow or repair itself. Any kind of infection or disease that affects the joint and slow down the blood flow around the bone and hence the damage of the joint begins. The new joint that replaced the old one or is supported with is mostly made of plastic, or metal or even both. Sometimes, it is cemented into the place or sometimes it is not- it just helps to support the bone growth and the bone will eventually grow into it. Based on the severity and various other factors of the affected portion, either of the procedure is followed. And sometimes, both methods are combined to make it stronger and to keep the newly formed joint in the suggested position. The difference between cemented and uncemented joint is, a cemented joint replacement is done more often in elderly patients and with much weaker bones. For a young patient, it is suggested that he go for the uncemented joint replacement as it gives good amount of time for the damaged bone to grow back, this will take longer to heal as the bone has to grow and attach to it. In the recent times, Joint Replacements have become a more common sight. It has been suggested by various scientists and doctors that joint replacement makes moments and walking more easy for elder patients. And can also help you feel better without any pain.

  2. Any kind of medical treatment comes with its own set of risks. And so does joint replacement as well. The risk in this case depends on the patient’s medical history and the severity of the case before replacement. Proper tests and preps needs to be conducted before it can be declared that the patient is ready for a joint replacement surgery. Sometimes it’s not the aftereffects of the surgery that can carry a negative side affect on the patient but the kind of drugs prescribed for healing and recovery can also play an impactful role. If the prescribed medicines don’t suit the patient, this can lead to an allergic reaction. Hence the patient needs to be very careful in planning this out with the orthopedic.
