Situation • In Paris several partners were interested but no one want the lead! • European Road User Survey (ERUS III, alto not in the SP should be started • ERUS: • Tool: • influence the National Road Administration’s management by providing a comparison • Provide international perspective on national networks • Den, Neth, Ire, UK, Flem, Walloon, Lux, France, Switz. • Lorry & cars drivers

  4. Topic list Drivers were asked their opinion on: • Roads and elements of roads such as signs, road works • Travel information • Congestion • Safety while travelling • Facilities

  5. ERUS III • A inquiry has been sent out for those countries/NRA not .. • Starting Workshop end Feb/beginning of March • Evaluation of used method and proposals for alterartion • Workshop june 2006 • Workshop on using the handbook • Field work by countries itself by end of august/begin of sept.

  7. Task O 10 The objective of this task shall be to define tools that will allow NRAs to find out what users expect. The project group for this task shall:  • ·highlight early experiences; • ·make an inventory on the various approaches used; • ·initiate a dialogue on the findings to provide insight into workable concepts; • ·disseminate the gathered information through reports or workshops; • submit to the EB a final report with conclusions and recommendations
