  2. Objectives • I will be able to identify and describe the 9 Crusades • I will be able to analyze the impact of the Crusades

  3. Nursery Rhymes and the Crusades? • GeorgiePorgie pudding and pie • Kissed the girls and made them cry. • When the boys came out to play • GeorgiePorgie ran away

  4. Directions • Create a poster that highlights the most important aspects of your Crusade • Create a nursery rhyme that follows the criteria: • Talks about your Crusade • Disguises the reality as something fun and lighthearted • Posses a happy rhythm and rhyme • Includes a picture that corresponds to the rhyme • Present your Crusade and nursery rhyme to the class

  5. Homework • Read “The Effects of the Crusades” • 2) Rank the effects in order from most to least important (1-8) • 3) Write a one to two sentences explanation for each ranking
