Jessica Ashley Kahal Is a Young Flutist Who Embraces a Rich Variety of Musical Styles Jessica Ashley Kahal is a talented flutist who embraces a rich variety of musical styles with both virtuosity & sensitivity. Known for wonderfully including occasional flute improvisations in her performances, Kahal has indeed set a new standard of flute playing. Besides her amazing technical improvisations, she is admired for her classical overtones that set her apart from others. Jessica Ashley Kahal considers herself fortunate to have got many opportunities to perform across all kinds of audiences right at the very start of her career. Performing with her high school Orchestra their winter concert at the renowned Armstrong Theater is one of her most cherished memories. She was the featured flutist and a featured student conductor in the concert, and did a commendable

  2. job in both the roles. The orchestra program consisted of the Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra. Talking about the highlights of the program, they included the Theme from Forrest Gump, Schumann’s Symphony No. 1, Movement IV, and the Mozart, Flute Concerto in D Major, Movement I. As a member of her high school choir, “Varsity Voices,” Jessica Ashley Kahal also got the chance to go on tour to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia. She was in the Woman's Jazz Chorus and performed at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitation.
