He considers herself lucky to have got many chances to showcase her talent on big platforms. She got the opportunity to perform with the school’s orchestra their winter concert at the renowned Armstrong Theater. Apart from being a flutist, she was a featured student conductor in the concert, and was lauded for doing a great job in both the roles. Jessica also got a chance to tour with her school’s choir called Varsity Voices to Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia. She was in the Woman’s Jazz Chorus, called “Here Comes Treble,” and performed at the Kennedy Center as part of a special invitation.

While the combined choirs sang “This Is My Country” and “America the Beautiful” on this emotion-charged date, Kahal chose to perform on her favorite “Danny Boy” for her solo flute performance.
