  2. What is Psychographics? Psychographics is the study of personality, values, opinions, attitudes, interests, and lifestyles.

  3. Examples of psychographic classification. • Telltale games Telltale games are a games that allow you to play as a character, in your own way. This allows people of many personalities to play the game in their own way, allowing for a larger target audience. • Puzzle games People who enjoy a challenge will often play puzzle games to find that intellectual challenge.

  4. Why do game companies need to classify their audience? Game companies need to classify their audience to capitalize on the most money and amount of sales they can make. If they make a gory first person shooter they would appeal more to teens and adults not kids.

  5. Classification If game companies choose to ignore this classification, the company will have little knowledge on their audience and their interests. This makes it harder to develop a game to appeal to the audience and results in the company possibly losing sales.

  6. North America and Asia North America and Asia will see many things differently. One of those could be their heroes. America may see their heroes, like Duke Nukem, very differently to Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy, a Japanese game.
