  2. To Do List before Group Advising • Update ISET Checklist according to unofficial transcript • Update your four-year plan • Complete a GPA prediction worksheet • Check on your URSA account for registration date • Check for transfer credit accuracy

VIEW Unofficial transcript for Transcript Totals • Located above Courses in Progress • Earned Hours = transfer credits + UNC credits • Credit total determines registration date • Use overall Quality Points, GPA hours, and GPA values to complete GPA worksheet • Follow instructions on GPA Worksheet

  4. Grade Forgiveness (GF): Best way to raise your GPA • May be applied toward 4 courses (up to 12 credits) • Application available at www.unco.edu/registrar • FORMS

  5. Where are your classes located? • Carefullycheck the location of your classes • To ensure your classes are at UNC • Select Main Campus on URSA as Campus choice • DO NOT registerfor any class with: LOWR, LOV or COSP location • DIST = Extended Studies • {additional tuition cost}

  6. Course Information • Please click on the CRN number for specific course requirements: • FILM 120 • GEOG 390 (geography concentration) will not be offered until spring 2012 *PTEP program requires a ‘B’ or better in ENG 122 OR ENG 123

  7. ESL Information • ESL concentration requires • 2 years of H.S. foreign language or • 1 full year of college level foreign language • Todocument language background please contactvicky.stromberger@unco.edu

  8. You can take courses at the community college • See the Community College Guaranteed Transfer Agreement form • Also - found on ISET website • www.unco.edu/ISET/forms • Grade of ‘C’ or higher transfers • Transfer credits do not affect UNC GPA • Transcripts should be sent to Admissions

  10. EDFE 110 • Register for EDFE 110 (prerequisite for PTEP courses) after completing 15 cr. • 0 credit course with no scheduled meetings • Print Checklist from www.unco.edu/teach website • Complete requirements by due date • See website above for deadline

Teacher Employment Days • Teacher Employment Days (TED) April 7 & 8 • More than 100 school districts from approximately14 states will be represented • First-hand opportunity to observe the process of teacher candidate interviews • Volunteers are needed in numerous areas: • Greeting • Refreshments • Directions/information * Details will be sent via the Listserv
