  3. 1. Becoming Aware of Collocations Pay more attention to collocations when you read newspapers, textbooks, from the Internet you watch TV you listen to radio programs Be aware of collocation in any forms of language input

  4. 2. Record Collocations Keep a small collocation notebook Start a computer file/files to collect collocations under themes/functions

  5. 3. Memorize your collocations Categorize Make associations Use visual memory Use, Use, Use

  6. 4. Exhibit what you have learned • Do collocation reconstruction tasks • Write using collocations collected • Do one round of editing with a focus on collocation use For a better understanding of the types of exhibition tasks you can use for collocation learning, go to Lecture Six.
