The Ideal Candidate • Considered an outstanding teacher/ counselor • Has had formal leadership roles at school site(s) • Has both expertise and general knowledge • Has demonstrated exceptional ability to work with adults • Understands the time commitment needed to be an administrator • Wants to be an AP/VP, and eventually Principal
