  1. What Is Jesus To You? What does He mean to you? What degree of importance or effect does He exert in your life?

  2. What Is Jesus To You? Sorrow and Misery? But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions (Matt. 19:22). For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death (2 Cor. 7:10). Obedience = Peace, Contentment, Hope Rejection = Misery, Despair, Uneasy Feeling

  3. What Is Jesus To You? A Disappointment? He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him (Jn. 1:11). From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more (Jn. 6:66). Many have false expectations--led to believe and expect things Christ never promised: Health & Wealth Gospel Healing All Problems Solved Salvation by Praying Through at Mourner’s Bench

  4. What Is Jesus To You? A Burden? Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light (Matt. 11:28-30). I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Gal. 2:20).

  5. What Is Jesus To You? For Emergency Only? So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” (Matt. 14:29-30).
