VoIP SubcommitteeIssue 510: Internet-Based Relay Services and Interoperability • Contributions have been submitted and discussed regarding the issue. • Matrix is being developed to identify potential solutions in the allocation of TNs for users of relay services. • INC is aware of FCC FNPRM and comments may be considered as potential input. CO/NXX SubcommitteeIssue 513: NRUF Guideline Changes for Rural Carriers • INC received a contribution suggesting a need to clarify the NRUF Guidelines. • INC closed the issue with changes to the guidelines clarifying a rural SP’s responsibility to report at the thousands-block level in pooling areas. • NANPA will update the NRUF Job Aid as needed. • The contribution’s suggested FCC Form 502 changes have been added to NANPA’s running list of proposed changes. • Issue in Initial Pending as additional input was received. CO/NXX SubcommitteeIssue 517: Denying NXX Assignment to SP that has Opted into Pooling • INC added a requirement to its guidelines for the PA to provide a report to NANPA listing SPs that have opted to participate in pooling in a voluntary rate center. • NANPA will deny a CO Code application from an SP that appears on the report for that rate center. • NANPA had submitted this issue in response to concerns voiced by state regulators regarding SPs’ ability to obtain resources from both the NANPA and the PA for the same rate center.
