In order to take advantage of digital marketing you need to have your company's website optimized, this means that you must have ​Search Engine Optimization​ (​SEO​) on your site. If you do not have your website optimized then you will not be able to achieve success online. Search engine optimization is the process of making your website rank higher in the results pages of major search engines like Google and Yahoo. SEO is very important when it comes to internet marketing because it is the primary way to attract customers to your site. By having your website optimized, you will get more visitors and this will lead to more sales. SEO is something that can take time to achieve. You should aim to do it every month or so if you want to see the best results. Search Engine Marketing is a technique used in order to get your website to rank higher in the results pages of the major search engines. This type of marketing can be done through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC), and organic search marketing. Organic marketing is where you will pay for clicks on your keywords, PPC involves a bidding system, while Search Engine Marketing is paid for a specific time frame. Organic marketing has the least amount of competition compared to all other forms of digital marketing, but it is also the slowest to show results. The reason for this is because people are naturally more keen on a brand that is well established and has a positive reputation rather than a brand that is new to them or is not popular.
