Seven Blessings in the Apocalypse 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, Revelation 14:13 Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection 19:9 Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Details of the vision One like unto the Son of man - 1 John 3:2, Col.3:4, Rom.12:5 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (1 John 3:2) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. (Col.3:4) So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.(Rom.12:5)

(Zeph.3:8)

(Ezek.24:11) Behold, I have refined thee, but not with (for) silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. (Isa.48:10) (See also Rev.15:2-4)

(Isa.17:12) And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. (Revelation 19:6 )

  14. What did John see in this vision? (Linking the symbols in Ch.1 with other scriptures the following emerges) The multitude of the redeemed who are the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. They have come out of great tribulation, and have been made righteous (1) through ‘the blood of the Lamb’ and (2) on account of their faith which has been tested by affliction. The role of this great multitude is to go throughout the earth to ensure the right laws and judgements of God prevail, the effect of this will be peace. The judgements are according to the Word of God which is as a sharp two edged sword. The appearance of this company is of dazzling brightness, they will bring healing to the nations.

  17. Sun – Mal.4:1-2 Sea – Isa.57:20 Dew – Isa.26:19 • Dew forms on the ground. • Energy from the sun causes the dew to evaporate. • The water droplets ascend to form clouds. • Energy from the sun causes the surface water to evaporate. • The water droplets ascend to form clouds.

  18. Psalm 110:3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

  19. “thy dew is as the dew of herbs” (0219), 0219 ‘OWRAH’; Fem.of 0216; luminousness; also a plant (as being bright):- herb, light And God said, let there be light (0216), and there was light (0216) [Gen.1:3]

  20. Clouds are formed from (1) The sea (nations) (2) Dew from the land (Those asleep in Christ) . 1 Thes.4:15-18
