  1. What Is Ce Marking & Why Is It So Important? The Conformite Europeenne (CE) mark is defined as the mandatory conformity mark of the European Union (EU), which regulates the sale of goods within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985. The CE Marking represents a declaration made by the manufacturer that the products comply with the requirements of the new approach of the EU directives. These guidelines apply not only to products within the EU but also to products manufactured or intended for sale in the EEA. This means that the CE mark can also be recognized worldwide by people who are not familiar with the EEA. Which kind of product requires CE Marking? The process of determining whether a product requires CE Marking is very complex. In which country are the products imported? In countries within the European Economic Area (EEA), a CE marking is required if the product is within the scope of one or more of the CE Marking Directives. This means that many of the products here require a CE mark. The following product classes are included in at least one of the CE Marking Directives. 1. Medical Equipment. 2. Medical device for in vitro diagnosis. 3. Building products. 4. Machine. 5. Electronics. 6. Personal protective equipment. 7. Simple pressure cooker. 8. Gas appliances.

  2. 9. Wireless communication station. 10.Elevator. 11.Devices and protective systems for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. 12.Explosives for civil use. 13.New hot water boiler. 14.Measuring tools. 15.Toys. 16.Recreation boats. The following product categories do not require CE Marking: 1. Makeup accessories. 2. Time to eat. 3. Chemical products. 4. Treatment. However, cosmetics and other products remain subject to other European or national legislation (and more generally to the General Product Safety Directive 2001/95/EC, to which no specific legislation applies). They just don't need to be labeled. What are CE Marking Certificate and Self-Assessment services? The CE Marking does not contain any consumer information. This is not a statement of quality assurance, does not show evidence of third-party testing, and is not to be confused with an independent certification mark issued by an international or European notification body. What are the new rules specific to the UKCA Marking? The UKCA Marking will become the default conformity mark from January 1, 2021, but most products will continue to carry the CE mark on their products until January 1, 2022. Products that meet or are required to meet all the following conditions will bear the UKCA mark on their packaging: 1. The product is sold in the UK market. 2. The product requires a UKCA mark 3. The product requires a third-party conformity assessment

  3. 4. you have not submitted your compliance files to a recognized EU body. The conformity assessment has been carried out by a UK organisation and This does not apply to existing shares offered for sale on the UK market before January 1, 2021.
