Perfect is a matter of taste and must be carefully considered with the customer. Some prefer the fabric to brush the floor literally, others like a more standard ¼ inch gap between the floor and the bottom of lower part of the drape. Interior and ceiling mounting applications, when made in non-square window openings, may appear uneven as the curtain is a straight and the opening may not be. Thus, the 1/4 “deduction from the lowest point can be an inch or more from the highest point. There is no solution to solve this problem, other than to know in advance and manage expectations, measuring the aperture at different points for height will reveal any difference in height.
