Lessons For Christian Worship • Christian worship services becomes a ‘house of prayer’, when Christians come to worship services honoring God with our lips and our hearts throughout the week, not just on Sunday. Mt 15:8,9 • Christians need to learn from the mistakes of the Jews at: Shiloh; the first Temple; and, the second Temple. Do not presume upon God. • Christian worship must be of the Lord alone. You cannot worship the Lord and anything else. Mt 4:10 • Christian worship must be in spirit and truth. It is not a place J4:24. Worship is a spiritual activity Ph3:3 and it should not be thought of as only on one day of the week.

  7. IV. Lessons For Christian Worship 5. The Holy Spirit indwells Christians and you become the temple i.e. the place of worship 1Co3:16. 6. Intimacy with God and depth in worship are linked with living in truth and obedience. J15 7. If you want to improve your worship, come to hear God’s Word, learn to hear God.
