  3. Start Paint • Start>Programs>Accessories>Paint.

  5. The Toolbar Selecting Eraser Fills in areas of color Samples color Zoom into an image Rectangle Pencil tool Paint brush Irregular shapes Spray can Adds Text Rectangle with round corners Ellipse Or circle Straight line tool Curve Line Tool

  6. The Color Palette Left-click Right-click

  7. The Line Tool • Using the brush you can make thin or fat lines (Line weight)

  8. Selection Tools • The Opaque Option Tool • The Transparent Option Tool

  9. Rectangle tool Outline but No fill Outline and fill Fill but no outline

  10. In My Documents • Create folder with your name • First Initial of your first name and your full last name. • Inside this Name folder create an “Art” folder. My Documents Your Name Art

  11. Visual Vocab(after warm-up) • Save your file as “My Name” in art folder. • Send to: gordonsigler@gmail.com • Subject line: P6 Date Your Name

  12. Art Assignment • Write your name in a large font. • Add lines in your letters. • Use the paint bucket to fill in areas of your name. • Save your file as “My Name” in your “Art folder.

  14. Make this design • Save as “barrel”
