  3. Office of Diversity The goal of the Office of Diversity is to drive diversity into the fabric of our curriculum, scholarship, and operating structure such that we gain true benefit to learning, creativity, and innovation that diversity brings.

Goals of the Diversity Strategic Thinking & Planning (DSTP) Process • To collectively reflect upon UIC’s philosophy on and activities directed toward diversity • To consider the ways in which diversity benefits all our activities, the actions necessary to achieve these benefits, and the approaches we will take to continually assess our efforts • To understand our priorities toward realizing the full benefits of diversity to the campus
