DOI for COSMO Publications (cont’d) • DOI format for COSMO TRs “DOI: 10.5676/DWD_pub/nwv/cosmo-tr_NN” • First, DOIs will be provided for TRs Nos. 34-39 (here is an example of TR title page), work in progress • As the work on TRs Nos. 34-39 is finished, other TRs will be processed backwards (NB: showing DOI at title pages of very old TRs may not be possible) • DOIs for Newsletters come later, likely only for future issues • COSMO publications are “frozen” once DOI is assigned; however, small editorial changes are still possible (e.g. correct typos)

COSMO to ICON Transition: Role of SMC, Other Issues • Xavier, Daniel, Dmitrii • Discussion • Following comments of the SMC members, the “SMC Organization” document was changes considerably (and I feel improved) • Further issues have been raised, incl. • Flow of information between various parties involved into (ICON) development • Future role of COSMO TAG (e.g. use of GitHub to maintain EXTPAR soft, “who arbitrates?”) • Way to implement newly developed features: predominantly via icon-cosmo-master, or other route
