Leadership March Timeline April March Feb Jan • Tues Feb 24th: GBANominations Begin • Mon March 16th: GBANominations End & Nomination Acceptances Due • Tues March 17th: GBAPosition Papers Due • Thurs March 19th: GBA SPEECH DAY! 4pm, Auditorium • Thurs March 19th – Sunday March 22nd: Vote! • Mon March 23rd: Announcement of new GBA • Mon March 24th – Tuesday March 31st: All Club Elections • Weds April 1: The reign of the 2010s begins… • Friday April 3: Transition Meeting, 1-5 pm W525 GBA Position Descriptions and Election Process Overview Club Elections GBA Elections

GBA Nomination Instructions • You will see a conference on your desktop titled “Nominations” • Within it, there will be a sub-conference for each GBA position • Click on a particular sub-conference and write in the subjectbox: • "I nominate <person's name> for <position>” • To accept or decline, write in subject box: • "I, <your name> accept/decline the nomination for <position>“ • Nominations will end and acceptances due onMonday, March 16th(the day we get back)

What is a Position Paper? • Your position paper is your platform • What you would do with this position • Why you are good for this position and people should vote for you • A longer version of the 2-3 minute speech • For people who can’t come to the speeches • ½ a page, max • DUE: Tuesday, March 17th

  5. A few notes… • Grad Senate elections are different (that is University-wide), this is the GBA (Graduate Business Association) • Campaigning note • No advertising or PR • But feel free to talk 
