Chinese Samosas • INGREDIENTS • 1 Packet of filo pastry • ½ ready cooked duck • 1 egg • 100g bean sprouts • 1 small carrot • 50g melted butter • Hosing sauce • EQUIPMENT • Grater • Chopping board • Knife • Pastry brush • Baking tray • Small bowl METHOD Preheat the oven to 180°. Grate your carrot and chop your bean sprouts in half. Make sure your duck is in small shreds if not lightly shred your duck. 4)Take one filo pastry sheet at a time, putting a small amount of duck, carrot, bean sprout and hosing sauce into the middle of the sheet. With a pastry brush dip it in your melted butter and brush along the edges of your pastry. Then fold all edges in to form a parcel shape and place on a baking tray. 5)Repeat this step until you have used up all ingredients. 6)With your egg, separate it and glaze all the parcels with egg yolk and place in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
