Family & Early Life • Born in June 1926 as Norma JeaneMortenson • Her mom was unfit to care for her, she was in foster care then later on a ward of the state • She was moved around a lot over years, and thus caused her to experience weird behaviors caused by assaults • At age 16 she got married so she would not have to go to another foster home

  3. Careers • By the time she was 20, she already started becoming an actress and first movie in 1946 • Because of the movie contract she dyed her hair and changed her name to “Marilyn Monroe” • In the early 50s, Monroe became a symbol of beauty or diva

Early End of Monroe • Marilyn Monroe lived an adventurous and short life • She died at 36 years old in her home in California • Monroe’s death is very controversial because people think that it was a suicide, and some people think she was murdered • Today still she is a well-known popular actress and also known for her beauty
