  2. Fast facts about Chicken Pox A person who never got infected by chicken Pox or never got any vaccine has higher risk of getting infected. It mainly affects kids most probably children under age 2, 90% of cases occur in young children but adults are also its prey. Once the varicella Zoster virus infects you it remains in nerves for years. The incubation period of chicken pox is 10 – 21 days. The chicken pox vaccine has resulted in a decrease in chickenpox incidence by 90% in the United States.

  3. CHICKEN POX SYMPTOMS People suffers with several symptoms when infected with chicken pox and they are mentioned below: Before the red rashes appear you may feel of being unwell. One may start feeling feverish, aching muscles, nausea and loss of appetite. Rashes become severe as the time passes from few it covers the whole body. The red and itchy spots develop in clusters and generally appears on the face limbs chest and stomach. Blisters develop on the top of spots and becomes severely itchy. The blisters  cloud over in 48 hours and begins drying  outwithin 10 days, the crust falls off on their own.

Wear lose fitting garments.Do not watch television and try to use phones for calls only,Dab calamine lotion on your itch spots. Make your child to wear mittens to prevent scratching during naptime or at night also trim your child’s nail so they won’t damage affected areas. You can serve sugar free popsicles to your child as it’s a good easy to soothe sores and keeps your child hydrated.
