A kidney stone is a condition that can get worse if you don’t consult your doctor immediately.  If you are suffering from pain in the belly or pain in your back, and also constantly feel like urination, then these are the signs that you should immediately consult a doctor. Kidney stones mainly develop due to the collection of the salt and minerals which contains uric acid or calcium and it develops inside your kidney and can also reach the other urinary part. The size of the stone can vary, from small to big. Now, let’s look at some of the common Kidney Stone Symptoms. Here is the list of some of the most common symptoms found in patients.

  3. Symptoms of Kidney Stones -  Pain in the back, belly/abdomen, and sides  Most of the patients have complained of severe back aches and pain in the sides and also a pain in the stomach. That pain is renal colic. The pain that the patients have experienced during the kidney stone can be compared with the labor pains or pain of getting stabbed. Most of the time the pain starts when the stone starts moving forward and moves into the ureter, which is pretty narrow.  Burning Sensation or Pain During Urination  After the stone reaches the bladder or the ureter area, it starts causing tremendous pain while urinating. Doctors call this as Dysuria. It can be a burning sensation which is very sharp and also you get a stinging.

  4. Additional Symptoms – Some other symptoms of the kidney stones are is fever and chills, which the patient mostly suffers from. You may also experience vomiting and nausea.  Causes of Kidney Stones – One of the main causes of kidney stones is an insufficient intake of water. Next is your diet. Sodium and animal protein are also one of the causes of kidney stones.
