OBJETIVOS GENERALES - Fortalecer la capacidad técnica de las municipalidades en procura de una adecuada gestión en el campo de los recursos naturales y el ambiente. -Facilitar con las municipalidades, un proceso de análisis y discusión, en procura de una adecuada gestión ambiental y la elaboración del Plan de Gestión Ambiental en conjunto con las fuerzas vivas del cantón y con el acompañamiento de las Instituciones y programas vinculados en el tema.
