  2. READ: ZECHARIAH 4:1-3 1 The angel who talked with me came back and wakened me, as a man who is wakened out of his sleep. 2 He said to me, What do you see? I said, I am looking, and there is a lamp stand of solid gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the stand seven lamps with seven pipes to the seven lamps. 3 Two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left.

READ: ZECHARIAH 1:8-9? 8 I saw by night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse, and it stood among the myrtle trees in the hollow; and behind him were horses: red, sorrel, and white. 9 Then I said, My lord, what are these? The angel who talked with me said to me, I will show you what they are. (NKJ) THE SAME NIGHT? WHAT DID THE ANGEL DO? WHY?

REVELATION 11:3-4 3 I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees and the two lamp stands standing before the God of the earth. Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! He shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of Grace, grace to it!

READ: EZRA 5:1-2 1 The prophet Haggai and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophets, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem,in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. 2 Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel andJeshua the son of Jozadakrose up and began to build the house of God which is in Jerusalem; and the prophets of God were with them, helping them.

READ: ISAIAH 11:2 2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spiritof counsel and might, the Spiritof knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. READ: NEHEMIAH 9:20 20 You also gaveYour good Spiritto instruct them, and did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, and gave them water for their thirst.

READ: JEREMIAH 51:25 25 Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, who destroys all the earth, says the LORD. I will stretch out My hand against you, roll you down from the rocks, and make you a burnt mountain. READ: PSALMS 26:12 12 My foot stands in an even place; in the congregations I will bless the LORD.

WHAT DID THE LORD SAY TO ZERRUBBABEL? WHAT IS THE CAPSTONE? READ: PSALMS 118:22 22 The stonewhich the builders rejectedhas become the chief cornerstone. HOW WILL IT BE BROUGHT FORTH? WITH SINGING? READ: EZRA 3:11 11 They sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the LORD: For He is good, for His mercy endures forever toward Israel. All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

  17. READ: ZECHARIAH 4:8-10 8 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands shall also finish it. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. 10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the LORD, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.

Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. 10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the LORD, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth. WHAT ELSE DID THE LORD SAY? WHAT FOUNDATION DID ZERUBBABEL LAY? WHEN WAS IT FINISHED? WHO DESPISED, WHAT? WHO ARE THE EYES OF THE LORD? WHY ARE THEY REJOICING?

EZRA 6:15 15 The temple was finishedon the third day of the month of Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.

Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. WHAT ELSE DID THE LORD SAY? WHEN IT IS FINISHED WHAT WILL BE KNOWN? READ: ZECHARIAH 2:9 9 Surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will knowthat the LORD of hosts has sent Me. WHO SENT THE ANGEL TO ZECHARIAH? WHY?

  21. QUESTIONS: ZECHARIAH 4:8-10 10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the LORD, which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth. WHO DESPISED, WHAT? HOW DID THEY VIEW THE TEMPLE? READ: HAGGAI 2:3 3 Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? How do you see it now? In comparison with it, is this not in your eyes as nothing? HOW DID THEIR ADVERSARIES VIEW THEM? READ: EZRA 4:12 12 Let it be known to the king that the Jews who came up from you have come to us at Jerusalem, and are building the rebellious and evil city, and are finishing its walls and repairing the foundations.

READ: 2 CHRONICLES 16:9 9 The eyes of the LORDrun to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars. READ: REVELATION 5:6 6 I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

READ: ZECHARIAH 4:11-14 11 Then I answered and said to him, What are these two olive trees-- at the right of the lamp stand and at its left? 12 I further answered and said to him, What are these two olive branches that drip into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden oil drains? 13 He answered me and said, Do you not know what these are? I said, No, my lord. 14 He said, These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth. (NKJ)

WHAT DID ZECHARIAH ABOUT THE OLIVE TREES? REMEMBER: ZECHARIAH 4:4 WHAT ARE THESE TWO OLIVE BRANCHES? WHAT IS DRIPPING FROM THEM? WHAT IS THIS OIL USED FOR?

  26. QUESTIONS: ZECHARIAH 4:11-14 13 He answered me and said, Do you not know what these are? I said, No, my lord. WHAT DID THEY ANGEL ASK ZECHARIAH? HOW DID ZECHARIAH RESPOND? 14 He said, These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth. (NKJ) WHAT ARE THESE TWO BRANCHES? WHAT DID THE OLIVE BRANCHES REPRESENT?
