  3. First of all, the term “plagiarism” comes from the Latin word plagiarise that means “kidnapper”. In this context, it means kidnapping of words and not people. The Roman Poet Martial used this word to signify the stealing of words. However, it is defined as cybercrime by some people and others have various meanings to it.

  4. In the middle age During the time of European middle ages, plagiarism was considered as a part of writing. Authors used to collect the details from religious texts and sometimes used in their content credited the source and sometimes not. It was very common in medieval Europe time.
